Elementary Job Description 2019

Reports To: The Elementary teacher will report to the school Principal.

Job Overview:

The teacher shall be a dedicated follower of Christ, hold a valid bachelors degree, and feel called by God to the teaching profession. The teacher shall be an emotionally mature believer, gifted with compassion for children, competence in the focus of STEM Learning, successful with many forms of communication, and purposeful in building positive relationships with people from all cultures and faiths. Qualifications:

The Elementary Teacher shall:

 * Have completed a bachelor’s degree and have (or be in process to achieve) either a Masters Degree or a current state teaching credential.

 * Have received Jesus Christ as his/her personal Savior.

Elementary Support Teacher Job Description

Reports To: The Elementary Support Teacher will report to the school Principal.

The support teacher shall be a born-again Christian who feels called by God to work with children. The support teacher shall be a person with spiritual and emotional maturity engaging in modeling collaboration, compassion, competence, and creativity.   • Preschool Teacher

Preschool Teacher Job Description

Reports To: The Preschool Teacher will report to the Preschool Director.

Job Overview:

The teacher shall be a born-again Christian with a college education, who feels called by God to the teaching profession. The teacher shall be a person with spiritual and emotional maturity with academic, communication, and leadership abilities that will allow him or her to be able to build positive relationships with every family. Qualifications:

The Preschool Teacher shall:

Hold at least twelve early childhood education semester units (18 quarter units).  To be a minimally qualified teacher you must have 6 semester     units and must be enrolled in Early Childhood Classes until you have completed twelve semester units.
