I began teaching Sunday school at my church when I was a teenager.  I love that now I get to teach children daily as my profession.

I have two children of my own, my son who is graduating from SCS this June and going into middle school, and my daughter who is going into 2nd grade.  I get to parent them with my husband of 16 years.  I enjoy beach days with my family, specially the ones on the island of Maui.  Maui has always been my dream destination. I enjoy going out to eat at restaurants that cook the ancient art of Teppanyaki.

I grew up visiting my grandmother’s house in a tropical little town near the jungle in Bolivia.  My family would sun roast their own coffee beans outside.  The aroma was amazing and the taste of the coffee was like no other. It is no surprise that one the highlights of my day enjoying a good cup of coffee, and I am always on the look out for a new roast to taste from another part of the world.

Swimming, golfing, and riding horses were some of my favorite things to do growing up.

I have been on several missions trips to Africa, Thailand, and Haiti teaching at orphanages.

My love for traveling has also brought me to France, Dubai, Costa Rica and the Bahamas.

In my free time I enjoy adventuring with my husband, walking our two cats, visiting the local farmer’s market, and traveling to the lake with my family.

I am excited to see how God will work through the students and staff at SCS this year! See you soon!

My husband (Roberto) and I met in Boston, MA and we have been married for 12 years. We have two daughters: Rebeka (6) and Victoria (4). Our favorite family activities are park picnics and popcorn movie nights. In 2015 we moved to CA and I took some time to be home with my daughters.
